Ubuntu is open source OS. Ubuntu look like apple OS (UNIX). High security is also available with UBUNTU. It is easy to use. The recent version of Ubuntu is 14.4. Code Name thirsty thar. It is LTS edition so Ubuntu team gives 5 years s/w updates and drivers support.
